  10. The Usenix conference approacheth, so it's time to post my usual reminder...
  11. If you are going to Usenix and plan to sign onto your home machine via
  12. the Internet from the terminal room, do bring your machine's numeric address
  13. as well as its name.  The terminal room does have name-server service, but
  14. getting that set up quickly has historically been a trouble spot.  Usually
  15. there are times when numeric addresses work but name lookups don't, so do
  16. come prepared.
