  14. PS in answer to your other question, "hidden decompression code
  15. attached to executables....self-extracting archives" is not a problem
  16. because self-extracting archives do what they claim to do, decompress
  17. themselves,  and don't go messing with other files on my system. 
  18.   If they DID *offer* to compress other files, we are back at the
  19. "novel installation method." If they messed with other files *without*
  20. saying so, we are back to the "bad" virus.
