  19. Along a similar line, has anyone compiled a good history of cases where
  20. data encryption has been used to frustrate law enforcement?  I remember
  21. reading of a couple of cases in Kahn "The Codebreakers", but I'm willing to
  22. bet this has a long history.  Granted, the computer makes it easier, but
  23. people have been inventing private cryptosystems and using them for
  24. centuries.
