- Along a similar line, has anyone compiled a good history of cases where
- data encryption has been used to frustrate law enforcement? I remember
- reading of a couple of cases in Kahn "The Codebreakers", but I'm willing to
- bet this has a long history. Granted, the computer makes it easier, but
- people have been inventing private cryptosystems and using them for
- centuries.
