  27. Those are two different questions -

  29.     1. How do I remove compression from a file which has been compressed?

  31.        A. Not sure you would ever want to do this.... ever looked at all
  32.           those utility file executables you've downloaded in the past?
  33.           Many more are compressed than you realize!
  34.  
  35.     2. How do I get rid of the virus?
  36.  
  37.        A. Delete the marker file - either by a normal dos DEL VIRUSOK!.MRK
  38.           or by running a de-install program.  Such a de-install program
  39.           could also remove compression as desired.
