  24. The Project will be as follows:

  26. Goal:
  27.     Teaching kids/Adults at the introductory level OOP concepts
  28.  
  29. Methodology:        
  30.     Creating a language tutoring engine in VisualWorks (Smalltalk) using:
  31.  
  32.     - guided tutorial
  33.     - context sensitive help
  34.  
  35.     The first module would consist of teaching the "message passing" idea
  36.  through examples in turtle graphics where the students types in the commands
  37.  and send messages to the turtle in smalltalk syntax. Also help would be 
  38. provided in a context sensitive fashion and a link (in the help engine) would be made to LOGO syntax
  39.  
  40.     Int the help part the possibility of going in the detail level DESIRED by the user would be nice to encourage curiosity
