  12. I am interested in work on fault-tolerant distributed object 
  13. storage systems. By this I mean systems that provide persistent storage
  14. for data in the form of objects, distributed over a LAN, with some 
  15. ability to tolerate hardware or software failures.  
  16. Information about relevant research efforts, literature,
  17. or existing systems would be greatly appreciated.
