  22. TOPIC: The Second Coming of Trip Hawkins - Multimedia Maven to Reveal

  25. Accepting a January speaking invitation from the IICS for the 
  26. second year in a row, Trip Hawkins will discuss how The 3DO Company - 
  27. his latest business venture (formerly known as SMSG, Inc.)- plans to
  28. address the fledgling consumer multimedia market.

  30. Employed at Apple Computer earlier in his career, Hawkins is noted for
  31. founding Electronic Arts, the world's largest supplier of computer
  32. entertainment software. Hawkins' impressive credentials include a
  33. degree in Applied Game Theory and Strategy from Harvard and an MBA
  34. from Stanford.

  50. DIRECTIONS: Take 101 north to the Van Ness exit. Turn right onto Van
  51. Ness at the bottom of the off-ramp and head North following signs for
  52. the Golden Gate Bridge. After 2.2 miles, turn left onto Lombard.
  53. In a little more than a mile, bear right on Richardson Avenue. Turn
  54. right at Lyon Street, into the Exploratorium parking lot. Go left
  55. around the circle to the main entrance on the north side.

  57. From the east bay, take the bay bridge to 101 North and the Van Ness
  58. exit. Follow directions above.

  60. From Marin, take 101 South across the Golden Gate bridge. Turn right
  61. into the Exploratorium parking lot where the freeway ends at Marina
  62. Blvd.
