- A MIDI cable would be of absolutely no use to you, you need a standard plug
- that will convert whatever output you have from the boom box to a standard
- input on the SB Pro...For example:

- An audio cable that will convert two RCA plugs into a stereo-mini (3.5mm)
- plug, or if you have headphone jacks only, a stereo-mini to stereo-mini
- cable...

- The only other problem would be the impedance...On the SB and SB Pro, the
- input impedance on the mic connector is 4 ohms, normal RCA outputs are 8,
- and headphones are anywhere from 2-8 ohms...You MUST match impedances
- BEFORE you sample anything!!! Otherwise the samples will have EXTREMELY
- poor quality, and your equipment could be damaged...A simple circuit can
- be built for an extrememly low price to handle this, I'll let some of the
- other techies handle this one...:-)
