  13. IICS/Boston Again Offers "Introduction to 
  14. Multimedia Workshop"

  18. Boston, Harbor Campus

  20. The International Interactive Communications 
  21. Society (IICS) is offering an "Introduction to 
  22. Multimedia."  This one-day workshop will introduce 
  23. the basic components and concepts of interactive 
  24. multimedia.  Several recent development efforts 
  25. will be presented in detail, and participants will 
  26. be able to experiment "hands-on" with the resulting 
  27. products.  Participants will be introduced to the 
  28. equipment, hardware, and software needed to get 
  29. started on their own multimedia applications.  
  30. Various multimedia "platforms" will be discussed.  
  31. There will be a hands-on period using the 
  32. University's Multimedia Lab.  We plan to have many 
  33. experts in the production field to answer any 
  34. questions participants may have.  This workshop is 
  35. a repeat of a popular workshop given last year
  36.  
  37. IICS is a membership organization of video and 
  38. computer professionals involved in the production 
  39. of interactive multi-media materials.  The workshop 
  40. is offered to members for $25, and to non-members 
  41. for $50.  SPECIAL OFFER TO NEW MEMBERS:  JOIN IICS 
  42. AT THE NORMAL RATE OF $85/yr. (STUDENTS $45/yr.), 
  43. AND ATTEND THE WORKSHOP FREE OF CHARGE.
