  22. I cannot help you with your email problem.  However, if
  23. your system allows human logins to its uucp account then
  24. you have a *major* security hole--uucp has a high level
  25. of privileges so nogoodniks love it.  The /etc/passwd
  26. entry for your uucp account should have an asterisk in
  27. the password field so that interactive logins are not
  28. possible.

  30. I suspect that your system has privileges set so that
  31. ordinary users are denied email access; uucp may be able
  32. to override such limitations.  Check with your system administrator.
