- I cannot help you with your email problem. However, if
- your system allows human logins to its uucp account then
- you have a *major* security hole--uucp has a high level
- of privileges so nogoodniks love it. The /etc/passwd
- entry for your uucp account should have an asterisk in
- the password field so that interactive logins are not
- possible.

- I suspect that your system has privileges set so that
- ordinary users are denied email access; uucp may be able
- to override such limitations. Check with your system administrator.
