  13. If anyone has gone the MS-MAIL with SMTP gateway route, I'd be 
  14. interested in your experiences so far. Especially...
  15.  
  16. 1) How hard it is to get/keep the gateway configured?
  17. 2) Do MS-Mail postoffices require an additional and expensive
  18.    "downstream" module to route or send SMTP mail to the gateway
  19.    or to translate MS-Mail to Internet style addresses? A Microsoft
  20.    rep has claimed the SMTP gateway package is all we need.
  21. 3) MS-DOS is single tasking, I assume one SMTP connection at a time?
  22.    Does this create real problems? What are they?
  23. 4) Any problem with the gateway wedging up? If so, any workarounds?
  24. 5) Can you have multiple SMTP gateways on one LOCAL Area Network?
  25. 6) Can you have multiple SMTP gateways on one WIDE Area Network?
  26. 7) If yes to 5 or 6, how do you route mail to the correct gateway?

  28. Any answers would be most appreciated. Please don't recommend
  29. another package, getting a new job or suicide. (-8 I'm stuck with
  30. MS-MAIL and I'm trying to get a handle on what I have in store...
