  12.     We are pleased to announce Version 1.0 of Ximap, an IMAP mail
  13. client for the X window system. This release provides basic MIME
  14. support and many bug fixes and minor enhancements from previous releases.
  15. Previous Ximap users are strongly encouraged to upgrade.

  17.     It is available via FTP or Gopher to "SUMEX-AIM.Stanford.EDU"
  18. under "/imap/clients/ximap/ximap-1.0.tar.Z".

  20.     Please note that SUMEX-AIM is heavily used, and you will stand
  21. the best chance of connecting outside of work hours on the west coast
  22. USA (8AM-5PM, Mon-Fri, PST).
