- Setting up an attribution line that says more than just:
-
- "Full Name said:"
-
- doesn't seem possible in the current version(s) of "elm".
- I would like something as follows:
-
- "On timestamp Full Name <user@somewhere> said:"
- --------- --------- ----------------
-
- The underlined portions are what I would like to pull from the
- "Date:" resp. "From:" header lines of the original item. Maybe even
- things like the address on the "Sender:" or "Newsgroup:" line.
- In general, it would be nice to be able to specify separately which
- part of a header line to pull into the attribution, and which header
- line itself to pull it from.
-
- Are there ways to build filters to do this kind of thing? If so,
- any tips & hints would be very much appreciated.
-
- Regards.
