  12. We have elm installed on our LAN of DG AViiONs running DG/UX 5.4.1.
  13. The actual code is on a server (of sorts), with the elm directory
  14. mounted on all the workstations in the room.  It has been
  15. functioning flawlessly, but now on one of the workstations,
  16. attempting to invoke elm produces the error message:

  18. Failed trying to initialize your terminal entry: unknown return code -3
  19.  
  20. This happens whether logged in directly or remotely.
  21. We have just done some hardware work on this machine (added a disk
  22. drive), but I don't believe that is important.
  23.  
  24. What does this message mean?  Why does elm try to initialize a 
  25. terminal entry?  What is return code -3?  How do I fix it?
