- Just had one of our users start ELM 2.4.17 to prune old messages out of
- a folder called 'mbox', when he was very close to his filestore quota limit.
- What he got was this:
-
-
- Write failed to tempfile in copy
- mbox: Disc quota exceeded
- Couldn't modify folder
-
- Write failed to tempfile in copy
- /user/ps/psa008/emergency.mbox: Disc quota exceeded
- Couldn't copy mailbox, system trouble
-
- Emergency exit taken! All temp files intact.
-
- And the mbox file ended up empty.
-
- A couple of questions on this, then: what _are_ the temporary files that
- are intact? I can't see anything in /tmp or the user's own area.
-
- And has the user then totally lost what was in the folder in this case?
- I'm wondering if this isn't perhaps a rather drastic thing to happen....
