  14. I have compiled tk formally under 386BSD and XFree86. I said 'formally'
  15. because I can start 'wish' and the hello example also works.

  17. But for instance other examples like 'widget' only show a green squared
  18. window with nothing in it and a wish: prompt in the startup window.

  20. I'm not sure whether there still is a bug in 386BSD which prevents

  22.  #!/usr/local/bin/wish -switch something

  24. from properly working or if the cause is somewhere else.
