  19. I'm pretty sure that you have to call CreateHost once for each window
  20. you want to open. I'm pretty new to RexxArpLib and Rexx in general, but
  21. I see no other way that it would be possible to do this in v2.52, which
  22. is what I have. For instance, say you could open another window. How
  23. then would you tell subsequent calls to Text, AddGadget, etc. which
  24. window to do this stuff in? There is nothing in their argument lists
  25. that could uniquely identify each window.

  28. limitation of Intuition itself, but rather one placed on you by
  29. RexxArplib.

  36. Yes, this is possible. I think in the call to CloseWindow there is a flag 
  37. to do just this. If this isn't clear, email me and I'll show you what I
  38. mean.

  40. Also, WaitForPort takes a while when you are creating a host for the 
  41. first time. There's a faster way. I can't remember exactly how I did 
  42. it in a program I'm currently working on, but I believe I busy-looped 
  43. with a call to SHOW until it returned a true value. If this isn't clear
  44. email me and I'll send you a code fragment to illustrate. This wasn't
  45. an original idea of mine, BTW. I saw it somewhere.
