- Pepper for several reasons, including doing a rational reconstruction
- of Pop's syntax (as witness the recent discussions about the list and
- vector syntax) and amusing myself with ideas about efficient compilation
- on RISC-style architectures. Although the first would be possible inside
- Pop's framework, the second was not.
