  20. I received three responses.  Two of them were requests for a copy of
  21. the information.  Randal Schwartz suggested there were examples of
  22. this on convex.com, but I couldn't see anything obvious there.  I did
  23. find a Perl client example at another FTP site, but I looked at this
  24. before Christmas holidays and the site name escapes me now.  I didn't
  25. turn up any RPC server examples.  It wasn't that clear in my question
  26. that I wanted to do the server side in Perl as well.

  28. One person suggested this "isn't for the weak of heart", which I
  29. believe.  If anyone has any further pointers, I'd appreciate receiving
  30. them.  Regrettably, I am not in a position to start work on a Perl
  31. interface for Sun RPC from scratch.
