  16. I would suggest taking a look at the facilities that Windows provides for
  17. managing multiple processes.  Windows provides it's own form of multitasking
  18. through event loops.  The simple multithreading API does not port well to
  19. Windows so it would be advantageous to adopt a more Windows oriented
  20. approach in your port.
