  18. Okay, here is the definitive info (at least for now :-) on how to get
  19. current status on info on g77 (nothing has changed, but I want to
  20. put the info in one place):

  22. If you can do finger -l, try:

  24.     finger -l fortran@gate.gnu.ai.mit.edu

  26. If that produces output of around 100 lines, then it probably works.

  28. Otherwise, if you can do ftp, try:

  30.     ftp gate.gnu.ai.mit.edu
  31.     Username: ftp
  32.     Password: (any)
  33.     get g77.plan

  35. The ftp copy of the file is updated every 3 hours from the live copy.

  37. Otherwise, you could try sending email to user fortran@gnu.ai.mit.edu
  38. asking to be sent the latest copy of the file, but _please_ make this
  39. your last option, because it requires human intervention!
