  12. I hope this is an appropriate newsgroup for these questions.  How do these 
  13. two packages perform in storing large (> 100 Meg) rectangular gridded arrays?
  14. Which package produces the smaller files, and which package reads and writes
  15. the data faster?  Both packages will be used primarily on a Cray Y-MP.
