  12. As a side-effect of owning the first post to comp.lang.dylan (at least
  13. in my corner of the world), I'm getting lots of email from people who
  14. think this newsgroup is somehow related to musician/philosopher/genius
  15. Bob Dylan.

  17. I'm not flaming these people -- there's nothing wrong with a little
  18. spurious email now and again -- but I thought I might as well clear
  19. this up.

  21. Dylan is a computer language designed by Apple-Cambridge.  It supposedly
  22. stands for DYnamic LANguage, but I can't help but think they had our
  23. friend Bob in mind.  Even so, I don't think exploring the Dylan language
  24. or subscribing to this newsgroup will give you insights into the man or
  25. his music.

  27. For that sort of thing I'd recommend rec.music.dylan.
