- Yup, it's not trivial; but if you pick a decent methodology, lay down
- the ground rules early (such as: "We don't support your broken fix to
- someone else's broken enhancement") and utilize reasonable source code
- control mechanisms (RCS, CVS, et.al.) it can be done with a minimum
- of headaches. If you need assistance with this process, I'd suggest
- contacting the Khoros, GNU, or X11 folks, all of whom support *huge*
- software packages in a highly commendable fashion. You might also want
- to ask them how they feel about all the help they've had from the network
- community, precisely because they released their source code.

- don't expect all of us to get excited about it, use it, or contribute to it.
