- Announcement of a meeting of the OpenGL Architectural Review Board
-
- The members of the OpenGL Architectural Review Board (DEC, IBM, Intel,
- Microsoft, and SGI) are meeting in Boston in late January.
- Part of the meeting is an open forum with the public at large:
- licensees, applications developers, or just anyone who has an
- interest in the future evolution of the OpenGL graphics interface.
- This meeting will be the precursor to the formation of the
- OpenGL Advisory Board.
-
- The OpenGL open forum will take place from 1-4 PM on Monday, January
- 25th at the Swissotel Boston LaFayette Hotel.
-
- There is a special $89.00 per night rate if you make the reservation
- by 1/10/93 and indicate that you are attending the OpenGL open forum.
- The phone number of the hotel is 617-451-2600. Also, please contact
- me via e-mail or voice mail, so I can get an idea how many people
- might be attending this session. (P. S. My phone number is changing
- this week, so e-mail is your best bet, or call the main switchboard
- at SGI, (415) 960-1980)
-
- Of course, whether you attend or not, you are encouraged to continue to
- use comp.graphics.opengl to communicate your recommendations for
- the future of OpenGL.
