- A while back, there was a running thread (and platform/OS war) on CG education.
- I apparently missed a good portion of the posts. Did someone out in net-land
- save this thread? I am particularily interested in the low budget solutions
- (i.e. trying to serve as many students as possible on PC platforms) that have
- been implemented. I know that approach isn't optimal, but there is still a lot
- that can be done (albiet more slowly).

- I am presently thinking along the lines of Renderman, with many students able
- to edit and view crude ouput on the PCs, then produce their final output on a
- few powerful workstations.

- described above?
