- Having actually rendered a couple of complex scenes last year using
- Autodesk's 3D Studio 1.x (assuming same interface is in 2.0) and
- having used Lightwave 3D and Caligari 24 (both Amiga products). The
- motion primitives and rendering options (lighting, texture mapping,
- etc.) are better than 3D Studio for the general user. They also have
- a much better interface consistancy than the PC software did, in
- terms of intuitive access to their features (unlike 3D Studio, which
- was obviously written for the Computer Scientist/ Computer hacker type
- and not for the artist)..
