- This type of data is pretty readily available, especially on the NASA
- CD-ROMs with .img format graphics files. But if you want native
- terrain data - I strongly suggest you use some of the USGS DEM data
- that is available on spectrum.xerox.com. There is a learning curve
- concerning the file format - but I'd be happy to Email you source
- code for some programs which will take USGS DEMs and make them
- into a flat file matrix elevation format.
