  10. I'm sorry to have to post here, but I cannot seem to connect to the
  11. POV-Ray mailing list.  Mostly because all mail to bitnet bounces.

  13. I'm trying to modify POV-Ray 1.0 to work with the ATI Ultra Pro and all
  14. of the high-color options it supports, and I'm encountering several problems.
  15.  
  16. The code is really unhappy compiling under Microsoft C7.  I might just
  17. have to try using Borland C++ 2.0, unless someone has a suggestion.
  18.  
  19. I don't know squat about protected-mode programming on the IBM, and I
  20. don't have any package for doing it.  Does anyone have any ideas
  21. as to why protected mode would be desirable or necessary for this program?

  24. Has anyone out there managed to successfully compile this on an IBM?
  25. I could surely use some tips.
