- Hello,
-
- Recently I came across a paper titled "Efficient editing of
- solid models exploiting structural and spatial locality"
- (Computer Aided Geometric Design, 1984) authored by
- Robert Tilove, Aristides Requicha and Mark Hopkins. I'm
- interested in finding out more about their techniques and
- latest results if any.
-
- Does anyone on these newsgroups know where and how I might
- be able to locate any of the above three authors? The paper
- says that Dr. Tilove is at the GM Labs in Warren, MI but
- that was in 1984. Could anyone confirm?
-
- The above paper deals with dual CSG/B-rep geometric modellers,
- and outlines a method of (quickly) updating the B-rep when a
- CSG-node is to be edited or replaced. If anyone here has other
- references related to this topic, I'd like to hear from them
- as well and discuss this problem.
-
- I'd appreciate responses via e-mail since I'm not a frequent
- user of rn.
-
- Thanks in advance!
