  14. I'm looking for references to books, articles and examples of all the
  15. ways that technical data is displayed, especially stylistic issues and
  16. methods to measure the effectivenss of various formats to convey
  17. numerical data.

  19. It's a broad subject, but I'm sure that the names of a few choice
  20. textbooks and perhaps a few keywords for some database use would be 
  21. a good start.
