- As an independent studies project, two students of mine built a test
- coverage tool (including test suite, documentation, and dealing with
- user feedback). It made a pretty decent semester project. It was
- especially useful because they had to learn and modify an existing
- compiler (GCC).

- (This was the predecessor tool to GCT, and some vestiges of their code
- lives on in it. Students like it when their code gets out into the
- world and gets used.)
