- ftp.cac.washington.edu
- directory: mail
- file: pico-bin.sun

- If you want the man pages, get pine3.05.tar.Z unstead. Compiling for a
- Sun is very easy:
-
- uncompress pine3.05.tar
- tar xf pine3.05.tar
- build sun
-
- The tar command extracts all of the subdirectories you need; when you
- compile the progam, the executable will be in the /bin subdirectory. The
- man pages will be in /doc or /man or something like that. (I've moved all
- this stuff around, so I don't know what the original directories were called.)
- Even a neophyte can do it; I've been using Unix less than a year and I got
- pine and compiled it about six months ago.
-
- Give it a try,
