  12. In an article I received from my sponsor, (periodical not identified), 
  13. Borland may drop Brief and ObjectVision. In the article, "Two Borland 
  14. International Inc. products are in danger of extiction as stand-alone 
  15. offerings. Brief, the popular program edir that Borland snapped up from 
  16. Solution Systems this spring, and ObjectVision, a home grown enduser 
  17. programming tool, may be victims of the recent layoffs and reorganization 
  18. that swept through the Scotts Valley, Calif., software firm earlier this 
  19. month, said sources close to the company.....Borland officials declined to 
  20. comment on the status of Brief and ObjectVision. "Philippe [Kahn] is still 
  21. determining what to keep and what not to keep," said a spokeswoman for the 
  22. company."
