- Quick Summary: Does anyone know what the DIP switches on an old Hayes
- 1200 baud modem control?
-
- The story:
-
- I recently adopted an old Hayes 1200 baud modem that was headed for
- the garbage bin. Upon hooking it up, it acted as though it were
- set for dedicated use -- it seemed to immediately try to send bits
- down the line.
-
- I opened up the case, and tucked away in the back are eight DIP switches.
- However, I have no manual for this ancient beast. Does anyone have
- a manual or know what the DIP switches are for?
