  13.         1200 baud modem control?

  15. The story:

  17. I recently adopted an old Hayes 1200 baud modem that was headed for 
  18. the garbage bin.  Upon hooking it up, it acted as though it were
  19. set for dedicated use -- it seemed to immediately try to send bits 
  20. down the line.

  22. I opened up the case, and tucked away in the back are eight DIP switches.
  23. However, I have no manual for this ancient beast.  Does anyone have
  24. a manual or know what the DIP switches are for?
