- Thre is the misconception that the 16550A & 16550AFN are two diferent
- UARTS. They are not! In reality, they are the same. Both function the
- same way, i.e., with FIFO buffer. The 16550A is the soft designation.
- The 16550AFN is the hard(ware) designation.

- But there is one buggy UART. It is the 16550. This UART is with the FIFO
- damaged. So, 16550 is bad, but 16550A is good!
