  15. I have an internal Zoltrix fax/modem (Zofax Standard) and I wish to add the
  16. non-volatile RAM option.  Its manual mentions this in a few places,
  17. but does not explain what is necessary.

  19. Its circuit board has one empty socket, a 16-pin DIP labelled "U8" and
  20. I assume that an EEPROM chip is needed for it.

  22. However the manual does not tell what chip is needed, and I cannot find
  23. and address or phone number to ask.
