- My software already reads tty input while in voice transmission mode.
- However, I don't think it's my responsibility to cope with flow control
- "manually". There are things like tty drivers in the real world (tm).

- From the day I bought the modem, I am using an external speaker, and
- the volume is fine. What I'd like to be able to change is the volume
- when sending on the phone line. I still think it wouldn't be
- unreasonable to sacrify a register for this.
