- I'm running a Scout+ (external) with Telix 3.20 and it didn't
- require any init string to CONNECT; it worked right out of the box
- at port speed of 38,400 BPS to give max CONNECT and error correction
- and compression.

- However, I didn't want it to try and answer the phone so I gave it
- S0=0 (default is S0=2), and I like to see the details of a CONNECT
- so I gave it *M2 (default is *M1) as in the following:
