  14. I have a problem..

  16. To gain access to my Universities computer system I must go 
  17. through a Gandalf switch. This requires me to send a character
  18. telling the switch the Bit / Parity I am using before the connection
  19. is established.

  21. My question to the group is how do I get my comms. software ( the
  22. Windows Terminal program) to transmit a specific character BEFORE
  23. a connection is established?
