- if you're wanting to run a BBS, you need waffle. if you're only looking
- at a single-user tail site (i.e., you get a feed but don't feed anyone
- else), waffle is probably a bit of an overkill...and it doesn't have a
- threaded reader (yet --- I'm told they might be working on one).

- if you are a single-user tail site, you might look into UUPC as
- suggested above. for news, check out SNEWS (it's somewhere on
- simtel20). I'm using a hacked up version of SNEWS here, and overall,
- it's not a bad program (I still miss trn, though).

- there are, of course, problems with snews --- for one, you can't
- easily modify the headers (you've got to edit the spool files before
- transmission) to, say, re-direct followups to a more appropriate
- group.... :-)
