  12. A PC-based colleague needs help using ProComm for Windows to connect to a
  13. Unix host.  He's trying to use Notepad to compose email messages and paste 
  14. them into Unix Mail. The messages come out double-spaced, nomatter what 
  15. we've tried.

  17. We've tried all of the ProComm options (character translation tables)
  18. but nothing we've tried affects translation during the paste command.
  19. The paste brings in CR/LF line terminator characters. Unix keeps seeming
  20. them as double line spaces.

  22. I've tried working from the Unix end via stty, but that doesn't work
  23. either. The best I could do disables the CR key altogether.

  25. Surely this problem has a trivial solution. But I've been unable to find it.
