  14. I recently mail-ordered a PC Logic 14.4 Faxmodem and found that
  15. on some connections I was unable to download more than 20,000 bytes
  16. because my software would abort the transfer with the statement
  17. "excessive CRC errors" (using ZMODEM via Procomm Plus).
