- I'll agree that $25 is a bit steep for a $100 modem, yes. $25 (or $15,
- whichever it is) for my unit (a $400 faxmodem, ouch) wouldn't be surprising
- at all. I suspect the repair cost is _not_ going to be anywhere near
- proportional to the unit cost. In the case of your pocket-modem, the fact
- that they're working on somewhat miniaturized technology might have something
- to do with the higher proportional price.
