  11. I am looking into buying a v32bis modem, and so far it looks like the USR
  12. sporster is what im going to buy.  I am curious, though, what differs in the
  13. internal and external models?  I like the portability of an external, but if
  14. there are significant differences, i would like to know.  Can anyone recommend
  15. a good modem with similar features for around $300?  Data is my primary use,
  16.  although i would like to have fax capability, i dont think i would use it too
  17. much.   any hjelp would be appreciated.   Dave Snyder
