- No, the added capability is in a PAL chip that comes as part of the
- upgrade package. When I spoke to Telebit Tech Support about getting the
- 5.01 ROMS (I have 5.00) to see if that would solve a problem I was having,
- I mentioned that I had ordered the FAX upgrade.

- That was when the Tech told me to just hang tight and I'd get the 7.01 ROM's
- with the FAX upgrade. We then had a short discussion on what enabled
- the FAX. It turns out that there is no physical difference b/w a WB and
- a T3000. It is just the PAL that turns things on and off.

- As a matter of fact, when I received my WB, I got a T3000 manual with a
- WB addendum.
