  26. No, the added capability is in a PAL chip that comes as part of the 
  27. upgrade package.  When I spoke to Telebit Tech Support about getting the
  28. 5.01 ROMS (I have 5.00) to see if that would solve a problem I was having,
  29. I mentioned that I had ordered the FAX upgrade.

  31. That was when the Tech told me to just hang tight and I'd get the 7.01 ROM's
  32. with the FAX upgrade.  We then had a short discussion on what enabled 
  33. the FAX.  It turns out that there is no physical difference b/w a WB and 
  34. a T3000.  It is just the PAL that turns things on and off.

  36. As a matter of fact, when I received my WB, I got a T3000 manual with a
  37. WB addendum.
