- When I first started to use BBSes I bought a 2400 baud modem of unknown
- origin. I used it without problems. I then got a highspeed modem and
- promptly set the 2400 aside until someone needed to borrow it.
- Unfortunatly, this was a third party, and the modem was returned sans
- manual.
-
- Problem: I want to use the modem along with my hs modem, but they are
- set the same. The comm program that I use offers me a choice of com1
- (my mouse) and com2, so these two ports are out of the question.
- I need to set my 2400 to a different port, but I don't know the jumper
- settings.
-
- Is there a way that I can set the jumpers randomly and have software
- tell me how it is set? If the software exists, I would like to know.
-
- Thank you in advance.
