- I should have been more clear. Appologies. I can't imagine that
- any v.32bis modem also supporting FAX would not support v.17. If the
- modem is one of those v.32/FAX modems then likely it would only do
- 9600 FAX. The same is true for the 2400 BPS modems supporting FAX.

- True - but I was unclear again. This was a reference to the fact that
- so far we haven't seen anything but FAXModems that support V.17. This
- being the case, all you have is a bunch of MODEMS to FAX to. You could just
- call the person's BBS.. Of course I suppose some will run FAX only systems
- And I find in the long run that sending a quick FAX is faster then logging
- onto a BBS.. Anyway that was the idea behind my comment. Happy New Year
