- Is there a standard which defines the pin out functionality of the DB9
- connector used for shielded twisted pair Token Ring? If yes, where do I
- obtain it?

- I understand that pins 1 and 9 are the receive pair and pins 5 and 6
- are the transmit pairs. However, varying on whose card you look at the
- remaining pins are sometimes grounded, sometimes hooked to +5V, and
- sometimes left hanging.
