  10.     Ah yes, another FAQ I'll wager (I didn't see one or a response to
  11. someone else's query on this subject).  On to the question.  We have a
  12. number of Starlan 10 cards.  We need a way for a DOS program to be able
  13. to determine the MAC adress of the card that it has.  I tried to use a
  14. program that determines MAC addresses of SMC cards, but that technique
  15. doesn't work (It does IN's from IO ports but finds all FF's).  I was
  16. pretty sure the Startlan cards were made by what was then Western
  17. Digital so I had some hope that that technique would work.  Anyone have
  18. any hints on how to get at it (is it perhaps stored in a consistent
  19. place in ROM)?
